Companies House charges a fee for some filings, but not most. This guide lists the current fee for each type of filing you can make through Inform Direct.
Companies House fees are paid to Companies House itself — they are separate from (and in addition to) any fee Inform Direct charges for using the software. If you have your own Presenter Code, any Companies House fee is billed directly to your account with Companies House rather than to Inform Direct. Filings made through Inform Direct that carry a Companies House fee

| Voluntary strike off | DS01 | £18 — Companies House has never allowed DS01 to be filed electronically by any software provider, so the paper rate applies even though the form is completed through Inform Direct. The lower £13 rate only applies if you file directly on the Companies House website. |
Filings made through Inform Direct with no Companies House fee
Most day-to-day filings carry no separate Companies House fee. These include:
- Appointing, updating or terminating a director or secretary (AP01–AP04, CH01–CH04, TM01, TM02)
- Adding, updating or removing a PSC, or filing a PSC statement (PSC01–PSC09)
- Allotting, transferring, consolidating, sub-dividing, redeeming or cancelling shares, and other share capital forms (SH01–SH13 — SH19 above is the exception)
- Changing the registered office address (AD01), or a SAIL address (AD02–AD04)
- Adding or changing the registered email address
- Changing the accounting reference date (AA01), or filing micro-entity or dormant company accounts
- Withdrawing a striking-off application (DS02)
- Correcting a registered office filing (RP02b)
