Like all online applications, there needs to be a failsafe to log a user out if there has been no activity for a certain time.

It is to deal with situations of users forgetting to log out.

The period is set for 20 minutes. This limit applies to all our users and is a good balance between security and ease of use.

As soon as Inform Direct detects some activity e.g. navigation to another screen then the 20 minute period is reset.
