If no code has been entered
The following emails are sent before the due date:
- 35 days before.
- 21 days before.
- 14 days before.
- 3 days before.
Where a personal code is entered for a PSC or director.
The following emails are sent before the personal code due date:
- 14 Days before.
- 3 Days before.
What if the PSC has died?
If a PSC has died, they will not be able to provide a personal code or complete identity verification. Companies House should be notified directly — see What Happens if a PSC Has Died and Cannot Complete Identity Verification? for the full process. Once notified, Companies House places a marker on the record which stops any further reminder emails being sent for that individual.
