Director & PSC checks will be a requirement from 18 November 2025 as part of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA). Inform Direct provides accountants with a process to check clients via BrightChecks.
The personal codes for directors, PSCs, and LLP members must be recorded ahead of the next confirmation statement filed, any incorporation, or any appointment from 18 November 2025.
Reports are available within Inform Direct to help check which individuals have their codes recorded. The codes will not be shown in full in the report. This report will just help determine when ones are missing.
To generate a report, follow the steps below:
1. Select Documents & Reports at the top of the page. In this section, there are 3 tabs; please select Reports.

2. The reports page contains a section for Persons. You can either select the heading of this section for a report of persons in all roles (which can then be filtered to just certain role types), or select specific reports of Officers (including LLP members) and PSCs.
Note: The reports can be customised, this allows them to be generated for certain records or to include custom fields of data.
Select the yellow pencil next to the report required to generate or customise before generating.
