Companies will often change their name. It is easy to update this using Inform Direct. 

How do I change the company name?

Once Companies House approve the change of name you may want to give your new shareholders new share certificates bearing the new company name. Inform Direct will use the new name on all new share certificates produced however all historic share certificates will still show the old name.

To update the old share certificate you can regenerate them.

1. Go to the shareholders tab

2. Click on Maintain share certificates.

3. locate the share certificate you wish to update in the list.

4. Click the pencil to and then the regenerate certificate option.
