The Register of Company Name Changes is a record of the different names (if any) and company has had since being incorporated.

Important: Historic (as in before the company was imported to Inform Direct) company name changes cannot be added to the Register of Company Name Changes by users. If you need to record a previous company name and date of change, please contact Inform Direct support at support@informdirect.co.uk. Our team can update your statutory register for you.

The Register of Company Name Changes will reflect changes to the name since the company has been on Inform Direct. 

If the change of name submission is carried out on Inform Direct this register is automatically updated. 

In the event a change is not made through Inform Direct and is sent to the system from Companies House the method of change can be edited.
