Inform Direct provides you with a very comprehensive set of Statutory Registers, for companies registered in the uk. Overseas company registers cannot be maintained on Inform Direct.
Once you start using Inform Direct, the appropriate Registers will be automatically created and updated with the required information every time you process a transaction. For example:
- Following a share transfer it will update the Shareholders Register and the Register of Transfers.
- Following the appointment of a director it will update the Register of Directors and the Register of Directors Residential addresses.
Note: Companies House do not send any historic data to Inform Direct i.e. previous shareholders or officers that have since left the company. Can I add historic information?
Records you add or edit are marked with a green triangle in the register. However, edits to registers cannot be audited or tracked in an audit log within Inform Direct. There is no audit trail showing who made changes, when they were made, or what the previous values were.
You can download and print all, or some of the Statutory Registers whenever you need them. See How Do I Download and Print The Statutory Registers?

Note: If you have a lot of very old information in the Statutory Registers rather than adding it manually you may prefer to simply save a copy of the existing registers in the Document Library.
