This release adds the Ideas Portal and a new Account menu, and removes the Total Storage limit. Everything below is live from 20 October 2026.

New features

Ideas Portal for subscribers

Subscribers can now browse, search, vote on and suggest ideas for Inform Direct without leaving the software. Open the Account menu at the top of the screen and select Ideas. You can browse without signing in, and you need an Aha! account to add ideas, vote or comment. See How Do I Use the Ideas Portal?

New Account menu

The Account, Your Profile and Logout buttons are now combined in a single Account menu with Account details, Profile, Ideas (subscribers only) and Logout. Each option goes to the same place as before. The other toolbar buttons are unchanged.

Documents

Total Storage limit removed

Uploads to the Document Library are no longer blocked by a storage allowance, and the Total Storage figure has been removed from the Document Library screen.

Security

Extra check on sign-up

Creating a new account now includes an additional automated check to help prevent fake accounts being created. Existing users logging in are not affected.

Login

Ideas Portal promotion on the login page

The login page now tells you about the Ideas Portal, available to subscribers from the Account menu.
