You can add any number of share classes when you first incorporate a company.

The only requirements are:

• At least one share class must be irredeemable - generally considered to be 'Ordinary shares'.
• There must be at least 1 subscriber for each class of share created.

How do I add another share class?

Note: Adding additional share classes is free for subscribed users to Inform Direct only. An additional fee is charged for PAYG users.

• Give a Class description. This is a free text field.
• Choose a Currency or leave as GBP.
• Set the Nominal value per share. It defaults to £1.00 or $1.00 or €1.00 depending on the currency chosen.
• Select the Type of share from the dropdown menu.
• Add your own Prescribed particulars if the default selection is not appropriate.
