Also known as: 2FA, two-step verification, multi-factor authentication.
Since the move to BrightID single sign-on, two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account is managed via BrightID rather than within Inform Direct itself.
How to activate 2FA
- Go to hub.brightsg.com — you should be logged in automatically, provided you're currently logged in using your BrightID.
- If you don't currently have an organisation set up, add yours — this doesn't create a new account or take payment.
- Once the organisation is created, select your initials in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Click Edit Profile.
- Scroll down to the Security section and select Enable 2FA.

How to reset 2FA if you're locked out
If you've lost access to your authenticator device and can no longer sign in to reach your BrightID profile, you can't reset 2FA yourself. Contact Inform Direct support — we'll take steps to verify your identity for security, and then remove the 2FA from your account so you can sign in and set it up again.
