This release introduces BrightID as the authentication system for Inform Direct. BrightID gives you a single login that works across Inform Direct and other products in the Bright family. The changes below cover every part of the sign-in, registration, and user management experience.

Inform Direct now uses BrightID for authentication. BrightID is a single login that works across Inform Direct and other products in the Bright family, so you no longer need separate credentials for each product you use.

When you sign in, you are redirected to BrightID to authenticate and then returned to Inform Direct with all your existing access intact. Invitations, registration, and user management all work through BrightID. Password changes and two-factor authentication are managed via your BrightID account rather than within Inform Direct.
