This release brings three new features alongside improvements and fixes across Companies House filing accuracy, PSC management, registers, identity checks, and your account. Everything below is live from 4 August 2026.

Hide pending identity checks from Recent Activity

Pending identity checks that have not been responded to can now be hidden from Recent Activity, keeping your feed clear. The underlying record is preserved and reappears automatically if the client later completes the check.

Resend a failed identity check during incorporation

You can now resend a rejected identity check directly from within the incorporation flow, without needing to remove and re-add the person.

Edit shareholder date in registers more than once

You can now edit the "date became shareholder" field in the registers as many times as needed, without contacting support. The "on or before" wording is also cleared consistently whichever edit route you use, and the change applies to existing records as well as new ones.

PSC submissions now send the correct confirmation date

PSC statement and notification submissions now include the date you entered in the flow rather than the date of submission. This applies to PSC statement submissions and to PSC notification types 1, 2 and 3.

Confirmation Statement no longer creates duplicate PSC records

Filing a Confirmation Statement with the option to submit PSC verification statements at the same time now completes without creating duplicate person records.

2026 FRC taxonomy suite now supported for accounts filing

You can now file accounts using the 2026 FRC taxonomy suite alongside 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022, in line with what Companies House and HMRC accept.

Termination dates now sync accurately from Companies House

Officer termination date matching with Companies House is now more accurate, including for directors with multiple forenames or surnames, corporate officers, and LLP members.

Manual sync now warns when a share allotment submission is pending

Running a manual sync while a share allotment submission is still pending now correctly shows the warning that prevents the sync from proceeding.

"Add new PSC/RLE" button no longer disappears when a removal is pending

When a PSC statement removal is pending acceptance by Companies House, the "Add new PSC/RLE" button now stays visible. Clicking it while the removal is pending shows a message confirming that no action is needed from you until Companies House accepts the removal.

Personal code reminders clear automatically after verification

Once Companies House accepts a PSC's verification statement, personal code reminders now clear automatically on the dashboard and PSC record. This applies to new verifications going forward and to historical records where a verification statement had previously been accepted.

Register downloads work for companies with special characters in their name

Register downloads now complete successfully for companies whose names include commas, apostrophes, or other special characters.

Payment cards can now be added without error

An issue preventing payment cards from being added to your account has been resolved.

Company logos can now be uploaded without error

Uploading and saving a company logo now completes successfully.

Test emails from Manage Email Templates now send correctly

Sending a test email from within Manage Email Templates now works without error.

Country field works correctly for non-Companies House companies

When adding or updating an address for a company not registered at Companies House, the Country field can now be selected and saved without error.

Support chat widget improvements

The support chat widget no longer briefly appears on page load before the AI agent is ready. You can also now upload documents directly via the widget.

Incorporation Checklist template updated for ECCT Act changes

The Incorporation Checklist template in the template library has been updated to reflect ECCT Act changes. Occupation and security question fields have been removed, and personal code fields have been added throughout the relevant sections.
