Inform Direct enables you to file accounts for two types of companies:

1. Companies Limited by Guarantee
2. Companies Limited by Shares

Account Types Supported:

• Inform Direct can file micro-entity accounts
• Inform Direct can file dormant company accounts

Important Restrictions:

• Inform Direct can only file micro-entity or dormant accounts if this is the first year of filing or if the company has filed micro-entity or dormant accounts with Companies House last year. 
• Other company types (such as Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), Community Interest Companies (CICs), or Public Limited Companies (PLCs)) cannot file accounts through Inform Direct.
• Inform Direct does not currently support the filing of other types of accounts, such as small, medium, large, or consolidated accounts.

Summary:
If your company is limited by shares or by guarantee, and has only filed micro-entity or dormant accounts in the past, you can use Inform Direct to file your accounts online with Companies House. If your company is any other type, or needs to file other types of accounts, you will not be able to use Inform Direct for this purpose.
