Whilst there is no specific form available to rectify mistakes made on forms SH02-SH19, it is still possible to file a correction.

Amendments to forms SH02-SH19 will need to be completed on paper following the below process.
1. Write a covering letter including:
- A subject heading entitled ‘Second filing of (I.e. SH02, SH03, SH06 etc - indicate which one)’.
- An indication of which filing you are correcting using the reference number for the barcode stamped on the original form. These details can be found by identifying the relevant form in the Companies House filing history here.
- A statement explaining why you are second filing this form. (I.e. SH02, SH19 etc) with the correct details.
Note: The covering letter will not appear on the public record.
2. Complete the relevant form (I.e. SH02, SH19 etc) with the correct details.
Note: All Companies House forms need to be printed on white A4 sized paper.
3. Please mark the completed form with 'Amended' using a pencil on the top.
4. Send to Companies House.
Second filing of these forms cannot use the uploading facility and must be posted to Companies House in the post. Send your paper application to:

Correcting a mistake in a share transfer:
Share transfers are not notified by SH forms to Companies House; instead, they are reported on the Confirmation Statement (CS01). If you discover an error in a filed CS01 you can correct it on WebFiling or on paper with a RP01 form and CS01 form.
