Sometimes it is necessary to remove a company and re-import it back into your Portfolio. Inform Direct makes this easy to do.

To remove the company

1. Make a note of the 6 digit authentication code before you remove the company.  

Where can I find the authentication code for the company?

2. On the portfolio page click on the pencil icon opposite the company.

3. This will offer all available shortcuts for that company.  See below.

4. Click on the 'Remove from portfolio' option.

Note: Inform Direct will not let you remove a company from your portfolio if there are any pending transactions i.e. those which have been electronically sent to Companies House e.g. a director appointment or a share allotment but not yet accepted.
