What Reminders Are Generated For a Confirmation Statements?

Inform Direct generates a number of reminders specific to confirmation statements.

To make sure you are aware when the confirmation statement must be filed you will receive both:

  • Email reminders; and 
  • System Alerts.

For subscribers, automated CS01 workflows are available to send approval or reminder emails to third parties, such as directors, as part of the client approval process.

 

System Alerts

On the Portfolio Screen

The latest date to submit a confirmation statement is shown for each company in the portfolio. You can sort the companies in a portfolio under any of the different headings. So, by sorting the companies using the 'Latest Date to Submit Confirmation Statement' toggle, you will bring those with the most imminent or even overdue confirmation statements to the top.

Note: In a busy practice this feature can save much embarrassment if the confirmation statement has been prepared but someone omitted to actually file it.

 

On the Company Dashboard

There is a Key Dates section for each company. You will see a Final date to submit next confirmation statement date. This will be 12 months and 28 days after the last confirmation statement made up to date (or formation if no confirmation statement has yet submitted). There is also a counter which, as well as showing the months or days left also changes from green>amber>red as the deadline draws closer.

 

The Alerts & Notifications section will also generate system alerts which in turn will trigger a Check Alert triangle to appear on the portfolio screen. These alerts are based on the Made Up to Date rather than the latest date to file the confirmation statement. They are designed to be a spur to action.

E-mail alerts.

An email reminder will be sent:

  • On the confirmation statement made up to date of the company
  • 7 days before the latest date to file the confirmation statement
  • On the latest date to submit the confirmation statement
  • 14 days after the latest date to submit the confirmation statement
     

Note: If the confirmation statement is filed before the above deadlines are reached then of course no emails will be sent.
