After you have completed the dissolution process on Inform Direct you will see the company move within your portfolio to "Your dissolved companies".
Note. If a DS01 is submitted to Companies House without starting the process via Inform Direct then you will not see the "Dissolution documents created" status. The company will show "In strike off process" once Inform Direct has been notified by Companies House that documents have been received and accepted. A dissolution application date will also not be recorded.
1. Dissolution documents created:
Once Companies House have received a DS01 to start the strike of process the status will update to "In strike off process".
2. In strike off process
On completion of the strike off process, the company status will then update to Dissolved. A Dissolved date will then be recorded.
3. Dissolved
How long are dissolved company records kept on Inform Direct?
There is no automatic expiry or deletion. Once a company reaches Dissolved status, Inform Direct keeps its full record – including the company’s statutory registers and documents – under “Your dissolved companies” in your portfolio indefinitely. It stays there until you choose to remove it.
See How Do I Remove a Dissolved Company From My Portfolio? for how to do this, and note that dissolved companies still count towards your portfolio limit and subscription charges until removed – see Billing for Companies That Have Been Dissolved or Struck Off.
