Sometimes it is necessary to remove a company and re-import it back into your Portfolio. Inform Direct makes this easy to do.
To remove the company
1. Make a note of the 6 digit authentication code before you remove the company.
Where can I find the authentication code for the company?
2. On the portfolio page click on the pencil icon opposite the company.
3. This will offer all available shortcuts for that company. See below.

4. Click on the 'Remove from portfolio' option.
Note: Inform Direct will not let you remove a company from your portfolio if there are any pending transactions i.e. those which have been electronically sent to Companies House e.g. a director appointment or a share allotment but not yet accepted.
To add the company back again:
How to Add a Company to a Portfolio.
I entered the wrong number of shares on an allotment. How do I correct it?
An allotment cannot be edited or undone once it has been entered. If the allotment was entered in error and has not been filed at Companies House (for example, it was recorded while reconciling), you can either remove and re-import the company using the steps above, which clears the transaction so you can enter it again correctly, or ask us to fix it, in which case we raise it with our technical team. Before removing a company, make sure you have saved the authentication code, personal codes and ID check documents. If the incorrect allotment has already been filed at Companies House, it must be corrected through Companies House's second filing process instead.
This applies to the number of shares allotted. A wrong amount paid is a separate issue.
Also known as: wrong number of shares allotted, allotted too many shares, allotted too few shares, undo a share allotment, delete an allotment, correct share quantity on allotment.
